Oh, I've found, that I'm bound
To wander down that one way road.
And I realise all about your lies
But I'm no wiser than the fool I was before.

- Paolo Nutini

FULL VIEW NECESSARY.

I like this picture a lot.
I thought that the square crop gave more attention to the water droplets.

THANK YOU EVERYONE, for all of your support.
If I could thank everyone personally, I would. (:

Daily DeviationWander down that one way road. by *oneofsixbillion Comment by *Ellie-the-dreamer "This is a really spectacular shot, the best horse shot I've seen in a while. I've never seen someone focus on the hooves before, and with the rain falling down, it adds such moodiness and atmosphere. This is what photography is about; capturing the unnoticed things and showing the beauty in them." (Suggested by ~Ellie-the-dreamer and Featured by `KevLewis)

This is no signature.
It's a figment of your imagination.
any tips on how to keep your lens dry while shooting in the rain?
every time I try I just end up drenching myself and my camera.

At first, I wasn't sure what it was. Now enlarged, I can see the amazingly timed water droplets and hooves. I think that by cloning out the blurred object behind the flat hoof, it'll draw more attention to the action and off-side objects. The highlights might be a touch overdone, but this is really a very, very good shot overall. Great work, Niki! (:

Wow, this was an awesome shot, I'd be a little intimidated to get that close, I'd probably use a longer lense lol! This was so awesome. Love it.

Thats all I can say, just
Holy woah.
Ahaha, thank you! -hug-

Thank you. (:
Although I have been that close down to a horse's legs, I was shooting with my zoom lens that day. Hehe, 135mm, I think.
