It has been ages since I updated my Deviantart account. I post my last journal entry in June 2010, and my latest deviation in May 2010. I have 2,000 notifications... Needless to say, I've pretty much fallen off of the face of the Earth.

But! Never fear. I'm going to attempt to make a comeback in the next couple of weeks. Hopefully, you guys, all of my wonderful followers, haven't forgotten about me. (;

So, where the heck have I been? Well, here's a small run-down... I'll be finishing up with my senior year of high school in the next couple of weeks. It's amazing how fast the last four years have flown past, but I couldn't be more excited about what the future has in store. I'm looking forward to spending the summer here in Ohio, at home with my friends and family, before I pack my bags and move to upstate New York for college. My excitement about the next couple of months is essentially boundless. Despite my disappearance from the DA scene, I'm happy to announce that I'm going to be majoring in photojournalism. I want to use my "eye" to make a difference in this world.

As long as I make it through the next couple of weeks-- final exams and working twenty-hour weeks-- I should be coming back onto the stage here at good ol' DA soon. I can't wait to dust off the remnants of winter from my camera, as well as my spirit, and get back to shooting... I have been neglecting my Nikon for a while now. Between school, work, and everything else that life has been throwing my way, I haven't had very much time for creativity. Summer is coming, though, and hopefully the changing seasons will bring along winds of change for me, as well. Because, let's face it, being behind the lens is where I belong. I've missed it.
